Amber R. Myrick
Amber Myrick is an estate and tax planning attorney, concentrating on will and trust creation and implementation; estate and trust administration; and business succession planning. Her practice includes working closely with the client to craft and implement advanced estate planning techniques including the use of multi-generational trusts
(generation-skipping transfer tax planning), insurance trusts, charitable trusts, installment sales and general business succession planning to best achieve the client’s objectives to transfer assets to family and/or charitable organizations.

Her practice also includes the preparation of gift and estate tax returns, as well as planning for and structuring partnerships and limited liability companies. After obtaining her J.D. from Gonzaga University School of Law and a masters of law (LL.M) in taxation from the University of Florida College of Law, Amber spent a year with Deloitte Touche LLP in its Portland, Oregon office focusing on tax preparation and planning for individual taxpayers and closely-held businesses, with an emphasis on partnerships developing low income housing and qualifying the low income housing tax credit. Following her time at Deloitte Touche LLP, she joined a tax and estate planning firm in Boise, Idaho and practiced sophisticated estate tax planning for high net worth families, as well as estate planning and estate and trust administration for families and individuals at various life stages and net worth. Amber continues to enjoy her estate and tax planning practice and building long-term client relationships.

Tessa A. O’Donnell
With over ten years’ experience in the legal field, Tessa provides the following support to Amber R. Myrick, P.A.:

• Assistance in all phases of preparation and administration of complex estate planning documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney and health care documents to include funding, formation of 501(c)(3) organizations, private foundations, limited liability companies and family limited partnerships for high net worth individuals and families.

• Assistance in probate and estate administration, including transferring and distributing trust and probate estates, preparation of disclaimers, funding of sub-trusts.

• Preparation of the initial draft of and filing federal tax returns, including gift and estate tax returns.

• Preparation and oversight of opening probate proceedings from the appointment of a personal representative or special administrator, to the final distribution of the estate, including drafting of all court forms, petitions and orders and making court filings.

• Assistance and support in complex Tax Court litigation from preparing pleadings to filing documents.

• Preparation and recordation of deeds and ancillary real estate documents.

Tatum Remely
Legal Assistant
Tatum is a legal assistant at Amber R. Myrick, P.A., providing administrative support to all areas of the firm. 

Tatum received a B.S. in Biology with a human biology emphasis from Boise State University in 2014. 

Tatum grew up in Boise and anticipates pursuing a career in law by obtaining a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Idaho College of Law Boise.
